Ultra－Kuroi Taiyo (Black Sun)－
An enormous sphere covered with spiky protuberances radiating in all directions. A "transcendental sculpture" dancing with sparks released from a resonance transformer (Tesla coil *) inside. Containing lightning, that phenomenon far surpassing the power of humans, this sphere consists of a coating of steel in a molecular structure pattern that is fused with thorn-like cones of black carbon. It is an attempt at creating a sculpture of that which is unknown, beyond human knowledge, and at presenting the spectacle of its manifestation. *Tesla coil: The resonance transformer invented in the 1890s by the great inventor Nikola Tesla (1856－1943), who built the foundations of the electrical and mechanical engineering technologies of the twentieth century. An artificial lightning generator that can produce high frequency, high voltage electricity utilizing the resonance between a primary coil and a secondary coil.
