Temple of the Sun / Sun Child Island Concept Maquette (1/50)
For this project “Temple of the Sun”, a cathedral where wedding ceremonies can be conducted was built in the basement of a small island floating on an artificial lake. The island is modeled af ter Mont Saint-Michel, and the concept for the lake came from the ”Miracle of Moses”, as it is divided in two, creating a passage for couples to enter the cathedral. In this museum-like wedding hall, many of Yanobe's works are on display for all to see.
