The Chapel of the Sun
This small chapel features a stained glass depicting the Virgin Mary or the Goddess of Mercy (based on the drawing by Beat Takeshi) at the front, and another depicting Sun Child at the back. In addition, original lithographs from Matisse’s Florilege des lamours de Ronsard were displayed within. Enveloped in light, couples entered the chapel and pledged their everlasting love in front of the beautiful works featuring a sun motif. Kyota Takahashi acted as lighting director for this event.
